Hello and welcome!

Hello! My name is ████ and welcome to my small corner of the internet. I used to have a different neocities site once upon a time, but the whole thing was just a mess, so I decided to make a new one.

This website doesn't have a particular purpose. It exists partially because I hate the enshittification of every single space online, how it all has to be advertizer appropriate and appeal to strangers. I want a space I can ramble about media I like or talk about my own life experiences without having to say "unalive" when I mean dead.

I also just like to yap about things like books and movies and shows and such, and I think having an actual place to put such essays would be fun. I also want to talk about what I've been through the past few years in public but on a platform without a like count.

About Me

I am a college student in my 20's, and am currently just trying to dodge life's swings. It's been a lot the last couple years: I had to quit going to college due to running out of money, and spent the last year working. In addition to that, I left 3 different shitty relationships and went through a lot of awful crazy things, so I'm kind of adrift now adays.

But hey, c'est la vie. I'm getting better day by day (even if trauma recovery sucks ass lol). My biggest hobbies are art and writing, though how much I actually end up doing those things is debatable.

As far as pronouns and gender go, I'm in a weird spot right now. I don't expect anyone is reading this outloud, so if you could just make a Windows XP error noise in your head until further notice, that'd probably work best.
