Finally started to actually make the website a website. I forgot about if for a while. I've been looking through other neocities websites to get a feel for what on Earth I'm supposed to be doing, but it's a double edged sword. On the one hand, man there are some cool webmasters out there. On the other, man, everyone else has cooler neocities sites than me.
But I'm really proud of the work I put in today. I added the blog, fleshed out the homepage, and I finally feel like the website is in a place where I can actually do something with it. Before it was so much work to even make it something to look at. I still feel like my layout is fairly boring :/, but maybe that'll change with time. I think a lot of it is the backgrounds and color pallette. As I get better with animation and stuff, I think I'll be able to make it look a lot cooler.
Anyways, I should probably get to bed. It's nearly 1 am, and I feel bad working on my bright laptop next to my beloved, even though he's already pretty asleep. At least, he seems asleep. He tends to talk, so I'm not sure he wouldn't mumble something to me about turning off my screen.
